About Maxium

Maxium is a practice and marking platform for mathematics. It generates unlimited original practice questions and marks every handwritten, photographed, or typed answer per mark against the relevant educational authority's marking guidelines — in seconds, not days. Maxium is currently available for the HSC Advanced Mathematics syllabus, with other syllabuses such as the JEE and SAT exams, and other subjects like chemistry and physics, launching soon.

Maxium is an independent product, operated as a sole trader based in Australia. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or produced in partnership with any educational authority or examination body.

How the marking works

Every question is created through a combination of human writing and AI, then reviewed before it enters rotation — nothing goes live without human oversight. When you submit an answer, AI reads your working line by line and marks it against that question's own per-mark criteria, the same guidelines a human marker would use, so you see which lines earned which mark rather than just a total. Mark prediction gives a band and mark range rather than a single number.

Who it's for

Maxium is built for NSW HSC students. It currently covers Mathematics Advanced (2 Unit), with more subjects in development. Teachers can also use Maxium with a class for paper generation, marking guidelines, and cohort gap analysis.

Maxium is free to try, with a handful of questions a day at no cost and no credit card required. Plus and Pro unlock unlimited practice, full per-mark marking, and mark prediction, with Pro built for the most complete exam preparation.
