Maxium is a practice and marking platform for NSW HSC Mathematics Advanced. It generates unlimited original practice questions across all 158 syllabus dot points, and marks every handwritten, photographed, or typed answer per mark against NESA's marking guidelines — in seconds, not days.
Maxium is an independent product, operated by Alan Cherian (ABN 80 466 116 358) as a sole trader based in Australia. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or produced in partnership with NESA (the NSW Education Standards Authority).
Every question is drafted, cross-checked, and mark-schemed by five separate AI systems against its syllabus dot point, then signed off by a human reviewer before it enters rotation — nothing goes live off a single model's output. When you submit an answer, AI reads your working line by line and marks it against that question's own per-mark criteria, the same guidelines a human marker would use, so you see which lines earned which mark rather than just a total. Mark prediction is built against NESA's marking guidelines and gives a band and mark range rather than a single number.
Maxium is built for NSW HSC students studying Mathematics Advanced (2 Unit), with Mathematics Extension 1 and Extension 2 in development. Teachers can also use Maxium with a class for paper generation, marking guidelines, and cohort gap analysis.
Two questions a day are free, forever, with no credit card required. Maxium Pro unlocks unlimited questions across every dot point, full per-mark marking, and mark prediction for $13/mo or $130/yr. See the pricing page for full plan details.
